Universities are invited to?participate in?Times Higher Education’s inaugural Online Learning Rankings.
As a growing number of?institutions offer higher education learning online, 色盒直播 is?launching a?comprehensive ranking enabling the benchmarking of?universities that provide online degrees for the first time.
Universities that teach undergraduate, master’s or PhD level courses online are eligible to take part. To do so, they must distribute a survey to their students and?receive?at least 50 responses by 12?April; and they must submit data via an?online portal, which is open from 2?April to 14?June.
The ranking methodology will include four pillars:
- Resource? This measures the level of resources dedicated to online learning, such as people, finance, training and support
- Engagement? This tracks the students’ learning experience, such as levels of interaction with teachers and fellow students, as well as aspects that are specific to online learning, such as usability and convenience
- Outcomes? This measures progress rate and student recommendation
- Environment? This assesses both the physical aspects of an institution, such as technology support and offline resources, as well as the human aspects, such as the mix of students and staff.
As this is the inaugural edition of the Online Learning Rankings, a?detailed methodology will be confirmed after 色盒直播 has assessed the quality and completeness of the data collected.
The ranking will be published in late 2024.
